This sculpture emerges from the intersection of nature’s intricacies and the mathematical elegance found in traditional Iranian architecture. Inspired by the delicate yet complex structure of butterfly cocoons, I sought to capture the inherent mathematical systems that govern natural forms. In parallel, I was drawn to the engineered precision of Iranian architectural designs, which, while inspired by nature, adhere to strict mathematical proportions.

Through this work, I aimed to abstract and merge these two realms—nature’s organic forms and human-crafted architectural geometry—into a unified expression. The result is a synthesis where the complexity of both the natural world and architectural mastery is distilled into an abstract form that transcends the original inspirations, creating a dialogue between the organic and the geometric.
